Garden Wildlife Week: Monday 26th May-Sunday 1st June, 2025

Garden Wildlife Week is here: Time to get outside and consider how your garden helps wildlife!

We were sent this fabulous image from our repeat client Jane, who asked our teams to leave behind logs from a JCTS job so that she could create a wildlife-friendly stumpery. Jane carefully arranged the logs into a visually pleasing stumpery and planted in between to encourage insects and birds to the area. The stumpery served two purposes because Jane had been “stumped” on what to do otherwise with this shady corner of the garden, where she had had trouble growing certain plants and shrubs. Now it is a suitable area for wildlife and looks great too!

If you have any tree work booked in with us and would like to create something similar, ask our teams to leave behind some branches or logs (job depending).

We can also advise on appropriate trees for your garden space and which specimens would be best for insects & pollinators, birds and even large wildlife!
